M.S. in Computational Design @ Carnegie Mellon University
I love optimizing workflows and solving complex design challenges. In my fourth year at Tsinghua University, I joined Professor Huang Weixin's research group, where I worked on digital fabrication and automation, enhancing the efficiency of customized structures. My role spanned design optimization, digital fabrication, and workflow automation, focusing on streamlining complex processes. The Project ↗

Currently, I am pursuing an M.S. in Computational Design at Carnegie Mellon University, exploring the intersection of software engineering, AI, and automation to integrate cutting-edge technology into design. Courses taken and Skill sets ↗
Beyond that, I worked as Architectural Robotics Research Assistant under Professor Joshua Bard at CMU, contributed research in 3D printing, and worked as an Architectural Intern at MAD Architects, specializing in generative modeling. More of my work can be found in my portfolio below.
build-by-motion

Build by Motion

A gesture-driven pattern tool with real-time 3D-to-2D projection and Catmull-Clark subdivision for smooth geometry. Built a custom 2D front-end framework for interactive design.

Sense Bridge Project

Sense Bridge

A motion-aware interaction system designed to enhance hybrid communication. Integrates real-time motion sensing to create intuitive, expressive digital interactions.

weaving

Weaving Structure Installation

An automated labeling system for round and rectangular rods (3mm–20mm) to streamline construction processes. The system generates custom codes and places them at precise distances defined by CSV input.
